An Answer to the Pro War Surrealists

Humanity cannot exist peacefully under servitude, it is not a natural state for any human being to exist in

We have noticed that much like the pre-war American Media dreaming of a 7 day takeover of Iraq, some pro war chicken hawks have been glorifying the West’s
war and how justified it really is. The most saddening thing to be heard is that people who are supposedly from a background that has its roots in regions where we have witnessed these colonialists at their worst, are defending it like there is no tomorrow. To those who feel that colonialism left us with and I quote “Stronger Democratic Values” are probably in another world. We will stick to our own colonialist experience. The British Raj was not a noble venture to civilise the Indians. It was a rape of a great nation, which was once united and gave equal standing to every religion and creed. In fact, India has not since the Mughals seen such a great experiment of One Nation Existence. The primary means that the British achieved the Raj was the principle of Divide and rule. And divided and ruled they did, and to this date we are divided and ruled on one side by a military junta and on the other by a party that relies on nationalistic support. Let me be precise to those Pro War Surrealists, that nations and people prefer sovereignty to colonialism. They prefer it because no matter what the state of chaos within them is, they can still call themselves free. That is why, when their boys today face such brave resistance from a nation, weak by 12 years of bitter sanctions, it is no surprise. Freedom is a concept that is not achieved by moving to the greener pastures of the West. National freedom is an entity that can only be felt and understood by those who are threatened to loose it. Only 50 years ago 90 percent of the world was being butchered and raped to fulfil a few colonists nation. In Britain today you can visit any part of their historical places and you will see the remnants of their plundering past.

Let us move forward from history and look at the present danger faced by us, the inhabitants of the dark corners of the world, as called by that moronic Bush. The American Globalisation was the first Stepping Stone of this new form of colonialism. With the exception of Europe, North America, Australia and the oil rich Sheikdoms the entire world is wrecked by the financial debt structure that is being imposed upon them. Since WWII we have had Economic Aid clamping us into this web of debt and debt servicing. The economic system of these countries are expanded and collapsed according to the desire of the western capital market needs. A recent example of this was Malaysia. South America is another ongoing example of how Pax Americana colonialism, dilapidated an entire region for their own needs. And now after Sep 11, these new colonialists have had their gloves off. The military machine they have nurtured and refined is finally put into action. Iraq is already under attack, North Korea is being warned and soon several nations will be considered. It is indeed a chilling moment in the history of the world. But already we are seeing a new resistance movement standing from around the globe, Anti War movements all over the world have organised themselves against this new form of colonialism. The fact is that 90% of the people of this world have seen nothing but misery because of Colonialism and Wars.

These pro war hawks will ask us to trust in this new colonialism. Let us give them some reasons to mistrust it.

Israel-Palestine: The fact that an occupying power has been paid billions of dollars to butcher and maim a native of that land, which is no wonder if you think about the American treatment of its own Native Indians.

South America: Only a few months ago Venezuelan Army generals on American payroll were prompted to decree a military coup, which was quashed only by the uprising of the people for the democratically elected Hugo Chavez. Chile and the demise of Salavador Allende’s democratic government is another example.

Africa: The biggest explosion in the aids epidemic is currently wrecking a very large part of Africa, which can be contained by the production of cheaper medicine. Yet American corporate greed, the glimpses of which the outside world has seen in cases like Enron and Worldcom, will not release these formulas to these African nations.

Middle East: Repressive monarchies in small sheikdoms are placed strategically to serve American Oil Interests. Larger countries like Iraq, Syria and Iran, which are either under attack or will soon be under attack to appease either Israel or quench the SUV thirst of American Subarbia.

South East Asia: The region exploited and supported to fight against the Russians was left in tatters after the collapse of USSR. And then recently on the subtext of Sep 11, Afghanistan was attacked and is under American occupation, and the construction of oil pipelines from Uzbekistan to Pakistan’s Gwador port is underway. And no signs of any form of democracy in Afghanistan are visible.

Far East: The world still remembers the brutal attempt of colonising Vietnam, which was thwarted by the brave Vietnamese only after huge losses. The only nation that has used Nuclear bombs on another nation is indeed the freedom loving US of A.

Humanity cannot exist peacefully under servitude, it is not a natural state for any human being to exist in. If you feel that your way of life is better than us, than live it, but stop trying to impose it upon us. I would also like to point out that within America there are groups of people who are against this war and are facing harsh treatment by the authorities, we thank them for their support and hope that their efforts can subdue the Warmongering nature of their government, but that remains implausible at the moment. For the moment we the inhabitants of the dark corners of the world must look at Iraq and prepare ourselves. This war is barbaric and each one of us must do, what it takes to make a stand against it, before it reaches us.
It is time to stand up and be counted agaisnt this illegal war.
