Wars and Treaties and the Jazz

2000-2010 - Great Performance.

The new agreement is that they ( Osama and his gang) can have Waziristan and live happily ever after there as long as they remain good citizens. Applaud!
How gracious we Pakistanis are! Or are we? Have we just sold two parts of the country? Have we now given
up on Waziristan and Balochistan? Are we now removing these places from Pakistan and making them states on their own so they can be bombarded every year by the US forces with definite help from their allies?
We are, I think, looking at a possible further division of this country. In fact, we should be sure to witness their declaration of independence soon. Waziristan and Balochistan. The two new countries in the region or maybe Waziristan will be part of Afghanistan. How wonderful and dramatic is that? Then all these ignorant terrorists can be secured in one place and live any way they want without causing any disturbance to other less conservative countries. Makes sense. How many people will accept this scene though? That is the major worry here. Well, the answer is: IF you do not accept this, tough luck. You are either with us or with the terrorists. So CHOOSE! Great Script!

USA displays shock over this decision by the Pakistan Government. Displays. But is not really so shocked. Thats because Pakistan is merely carrying out the plan everyone had agreed on one September not so long ago. What frustrates me is the drama. Come on! People are not stupid and you really did not have to create such a long , boring and frustrating drama to do all this. Why not just do it? We all have elected you guys as our leader or we have had to elect you - whatever the case - you are there - so get the damn job done and enough with the dramatics already! We have Hollywood , Bollywood and Lollywood for that , depending on tastes and inclinations.

Its been quite a few years since this great war against terrorism started. No one has won so far. The Taleban have only become stronger since the attack They have quietly observed all tactics and now they know what to do, so they are doing it. Thus, negotiations and agreements. But then, everyone had to experiment and check it out. No worries! The only cost of it all was thousands of innocent lives. Thats all. Its Ok. Happens. Right? Arms and Ammunition need to be sold also .. right?

Apart from the deaths, the inconvenience caused to all those millions of people living in different parts of the world. The goal was to diminish all these bearded people. As I write this, I see on TV the Taleban praying in a large group less then ten miles from a US base in Afghanistan. Lovely! This is a real winner here. It beats any movie I have seen so far.

No sir. Your goal is not to diminish terrorism. There is no such thing. There never was any terrorism. There was just a bunch of people who want a piece of land where they can live any way they choose to live. The way they choose to live is a problem for you because they are sitting on top of all the resources you want and you were not able to make a deal so you had to go through all this to get to this point where you have HAD to make a deal. And thats what is happening.

The goal was not just the goal of USA, it was the goal of all its “allies” , this means: employees, partners and associates and maybe even the "terrorists" ( who knows, get up for the show). So this is a huge business deal. And with all this power and technology and human intelligence and God knows what else, a single Laden cannot be found. Of course, the trial of Saddam goes on.

That is now a highly rated TV show. The Trial of Saddam Hussain. It is turning into a soap opera now. Mr. Saddam leaves his suite, appears on the sets ( court room) , does his thing and goes back. Some days he is too busy so he decides not to show up.

Two villains and there men. Both living happily ever after while their nations are either dieing, losing all they have OR watching them on TV. Mr. Iran comes out every other day and proposes the removal of Israel totally or some other dramatic and unrealistic thing- gaining love of his people and qualifying as the next superstar after Saddam and Osama retire with their billions as did Arafat, but then he died.

Thats what the Taleban were saying to begin with. Make a deal. Some idiot ( or genius?) underestimated them and caused all these deaths. Another idiot ( definite idiot!) started a war in the Middle East and that is such an ugly loss. A constant loss. Of life, and of resources. No achievement there really. Soon, we will hear of some agreements there also ( new countries). As we do of agreements in Lebanon - another “ loss of innocent life “ scheme. All this brings a lot of business to the UN. Thats one company I would love to be a part of. UN means “ I hurt no one, I cause peace after wars have happened and the damage is done AND I benefit the most in the long run”. A remarkable creation this UN is. The best director any producer can ever want.
Bravo!
