Verdict in Pakistan

Two days after the 21st anniversary of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s hanging the future of another ex-prime minister of Pakistan hangs in balance. Nawaz Sharif, a prime minister twice over awaits verdict along with his brother Shahbaz Sharif and 5 others. The charges – murder, kidnapping and terrorism. According to news reports from Karachi there is strict security in and around the court where Judge Rehmatullah Hussein Jaffri is expected to hand down a verdict that will have lasting impact on the future of Pakistan.
