Oh Messiah!
Of clairvoyance and absurdity,
where art thou?
Hear me,
For they say, ‘ voice of the distressed never go unheard.’
But,
Is my voice muffled?
Or my words incomprehensible?
Or my ‘self’ too insignificant
to be heeded at?
You made me-I need an answer.
Why my existence so trivial ?
And my identity so paltry?
Listen,
Oh! The one with the deaf ears;
Before your creation ossifies in the air
Or before all that is holy is profaned!
I need an answer.
What is my destiny?
I seek for peace- you give me blood;
I seek for harmony –you give me chaos;
I seek for sanity- you give me pain;
I seek for meaning-you give me riddles!
But,

How long should I wail?
Before it dawns on me,
Why am I alive and not dead?

--------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------

The final act!

Bemused, by the inevitability of events
I stand,
Baffled, on the bridge across the troubled water.
…the infinite sky above
And the reckless river beneath.

I raise my eyebrows
And dare to stare the sun.
A few drops of tears and a wet face…
Like always-I lose!

Incarcerated within an abyss
Of countless questions,
I run aimlessly in the darkness…
Alas! What I never realize is the futility of the run.

I pause,
With consternation and incessant reluctance,
And introspect myself.
I find…Just an amalgam of flesh and bones.
But,
Will it ever matter……..
If I erase this isolated existence?

I let my body fall freely,
The eyes fixed to the sky.
A big splash. The eyes fixed to the sky.
And all my questions answered.
