God of Many Needs

Within the bounds of Psyche's walls
I am infinite
I am a god;
Self-sufficient
Creator
Shaper
Destroyer
Poseidon with molding foam
Zeus with thunderbolt
Unique
Complete
No one compares with me,
But knowable, I am not.

I am not knowable even by me.
I wear a persona shield,
I hold an ego sword,
I live in unassailable forts,
And within my lofty walls
I know not who am I.
And to find me I cross my bind
I let go of sword and shield,
I cross the castle gates,
I go to an unknown place
To find that knowledge tree
In your realm I step in.
The realm where knowing reigns,
The realm of looks, songs, and smells
Of buds, feathers and velvets.
I need your touch
Like the eyes need touch of the light
Or the ears some soothing vibes
Of passion hymns.
To know me I act -
I search, I seek, I walk, I go
On burning sands, on thorny roads,
And to a forlorn earth
I come
And all the things I do!
Only to know you.

My love, knowing you is knowing me;
I am god of many needs.
