my biggest fears are as follows...

we'll get so lost in each other at night,

curled up, spoon with broken stem,

that our spines will melt.

become inverted.

freeze in curvature.

one day we'll face fuzz armageddon.

my follicles and yours will engage,

beseige and pulverize each other by

(and this is the key) location alone.

a 'hair' on your face

is 'demon spawn' on mine.

then comes the weight spate.

who will face first the butter knife of time?

become whipped cream on the skeleton of a stranger?

peering over that hefty shoulder is 'Wrinkles'

she lurks because she cannot stand alone.

wrinkles on emaciation adds character

wrinkles on blubber equals indulgence,

though it does preserve the heat of life.

then there is the demon we face alone.

cellulite.

all things considered my biggest fear remains,

being lost

in a supermarket

in my knickers.
