Movie Review
Actors: Natalie Portman, Zach Braff
Director: Zach Braff, Producer:
I have just returned from the cinema to see the above movie and, as promised, am writing a quick review on here. It is an excellent little film full of poignancy and lovely little moments. It is an intelligent look at a slice of
dystopian American life; it is about a broken family; it is about friendship and catching up on old times; it is about drugs and their effects. However, above all, it is a fable about the power of love to heal old wounds yet at no point in the movie does it become soppy or sentimental except, perhaps, very slightly at the end but that is forgivable. The acting is top class, especially from Natalie Portman and the male lead , Zach Braff, who also directed and wrote this story. I`d heartily recommend this slice of intelligence indie cinema.
