Six Minutes

Nov 27, 2007

The changing world,
Continuation of destruction
Through volcanoes and winds
In places, far and near
Known and unknown,
Those faces, the places
Of grandeur and architecture
of routines, aimless and special
the humanity and its mechanics
dictators and the oppressed
the single snapshots, in color
the old urge, of hunger and greed
witness we all, through paper
and picture, through deserts
the vast and arid, the mountains
the echoes of our pain
in silence and in view
as the darkness fall, like plague
as those days begin, in light
the preparation for occasions
all I have is those minutes
the fire in my wings,
time to quit, time to reborn!
