Crazy Night

Nov 11, 2001

The fall colours are all but gone

As winter sets in this snowy night

In this dark, sullen, shivering cold

My heart feels its frosty bite

I gaze into the empty sky

Seeking my star, my dragonfly

I see none, for none is there

I lost my this starless night

As I walk on the powder snow

Seeking footsteps of the I know

I see mine and only mine

Hers are lost this snowy night

I take a stroll in our favorite orchard

Which once blossomed with delicious fruit

Now trees are bare and branches dry

Wilderness abounds this stormy night

Be gone! Be lost! O thoughts of mine

You make me feel the by gone time

Those days are all but lost forever

Now there's only this crazy night
