I know not if this is your wrath
or a nation razed for its weary sins
is it merely a testing time?
or a chain of scourge now begins?
whatever reason one might extend,
my mind’s no good to comprehend..
the hypocrisy of nature’s law
that will now make some millions draw
to selflessly ask for pity and grace
from the one who brought distress!

aaya qehar khuda ka jo zameen hil gayi
ya phir kisi insaan ney tha zulm koi dhaya
azaazb-e-ilaahi hey ya ek waqt-e-imtihaan
ya be-bus logon ko faqat allah ney sataya
kia kahiyye k kia hey
yeh jo ek waqt-e-siyaah hey
main kam aql hoon kuch jaanta nahin
is be-adal-o-na-insaafi ko per maanta nahin
jis ney kia hey zulm-o-sitam aur tabahi
usi sey duaain karoon k sab theek kardo??
