Seated in centre Brigadier Gulzar Ahmad,seated extreme left Colonel Salam and extreme right grandfather.Their other contemporaries included Malik Ghulam Mohammad (later the notorious GG),Malik Umar Hayat a renowned educationist who despite being a Punjabi donated his entire property to Islamia College Peshawar),Nawabzada Liaquat Ali Khan,Zakir Hussain(President of India),Zahid Hussanin (first governor State Bank Pakistan).Both Zakir Hussain and grandfather were also members of MAO College Students Union of 1918.Other friends and contemporaries of grandfather were Raja Khudadad Ali Khan of Rawalpindi father of generals Jamal and Kamal,Sardar Azim of Jhelum etc.
