It has been quite some time that a young lady has joined our gentlemens’ club of relationship managers(RMs). It has been one tough week. Though she is an extrovert and has made our group of three smart ass RMs into a group of 4, it had been one hell of a week. It would be unbelievable that we could communicate with each other without using expletives in each sentence (no kidding). But since she has come on the floor, and has joined our little group, we have been controlling ourselves very easily. Had anyone seen us communicating before she came, would not have believed that she is the reason of such a profound change in our behaviour during the day. Except one or two occassions, there have been no use of expletives when she is around and yet we are still comfortable.

The other day, we took her to Pizza Hut with our treasury colleagues whose sentences are composed of expletives with a word interspersed here and there. The uneasiness was apparent from their faces and they could not utter complete sentences in her presence as they were used to expletives so much.

However, when she is not around, usually on our way home, we empty the quota of the daily expletives on the one hour drive back. That is a scene to be seen where it does not at all look we are corporate bankers.

However, she was what was missing from our floor and despite her eccentric and sometimes childish behaviour, her presence is intoxicating.
