i have finished reading limebar by matt condon and before putting a dot at the end of this sentence i need to talk about how i get aisae hee the books that end up influencing me.. actually this one wasnt as much influencing as just plain simple delightful.. enjoyable, delicious, absolute pleasure giving... i was doing some serious book buying two sundays ago when the two goblins started whining about how they wanted food.. A called me a book whore and i did not mind it.. i did not look up from the kitaab ka pichla hissa i was reading... then when the whining became hysterical, i quickly grabbed another penguin australia kitaab for 40 which u get for 495 at liberty... its got a pretty cover which is not smthg that ever attracts me but on the two occasions i have been left in awe of a book, its what drove me to buy those books... the back had things like ’bittersweet portrait’ and ’deliciously witty’ AND ’looking for love in all the wrong places’ tobah yet i still got it.. do writers have any say in what goes on the back cover of their books? without having any knowledge of this, im quite sure they dont because this was a lame, truly pathetic sumary of a book that is lovely... it might have been the banter between gustave and the main guy.. it could have been a lot of things but i think it was just a very very well written book... it was so good i dont quite know how to say it... nothing life altering as bingo but a book id want to have nearby to reread parts off, to have my babies and friends read, a book i just want to know is mine... which brings me to my near hysteria anywhere near books these days... never one for libraries and collecting books and other such chichorae problems, i have started very consciously buying books for the dual purpose of reading and keeping them... iv become a bitch about lending them also... as a result, there are more than some 480 recently acquired books (at last count) in the room alone... which is probably why i never have money for anything else.. whats here and there and in the tin cupboard in balconey and on chacha taya apa shelves in the entire house will cause a flood or my room to come down... bichara havaeli is as it is tumbling in grief of the impending departure... my maasi tells me that she wont clean the kamra if i add any more and amma has started collecting cartons alredy for when the move takes place... for where i go, so will these beautiful creatures with me.. however, im still on the lookout for more books.. if u have any to sell, please email me at thecheesemustdie@yahoo.com... i will take good care of them... so, buy lime bar if u can.. its a nice book.. consider it a birthday gift from me...i hope u have a great one.. the moral of this story is that i should not have tea with night time visitors... i may also miss school tomorow
