The dictionary defines a patriotic as "one who loves his country and zealously supports its authority and interests." An anarchist is "one wh rebels against any authority, established rder, or ruling power." therefore, if you lived in Germany in the early forties and supported the Third Reich, you were patriotic. But if you rebelled against the totalarian orders of that police state, you were an anarchist. Those who led the rebellion against England in 1776 were considered patrits n this side of the ocean (US), but to english they were anarchists and traitors of the worst kind. Keep these examples in mind the next time smeone calls an individual an anarchist or tries to tngue lash you for being unpatriotic.
