- Talk only when...
One thing that I am trying to incroporate into my personality (if I ever had one) is the ability to express only when I have something worth expressing.
I’ve passed most of my life as a blaring loud speaker airing anything and everything that managed to excite the few neurons in my head. If I happened to read a novel, I would discuss it with everyone, if I saw a movie, it would be the topic of discussion of whichever sitting I was part of (thanks to me). That is not the way to be, I believe. Others deserve room for expression as well.
Henceforth, this commoner shall only speak when he has something worth listening to. Same applies to my written word. I shall only write when I have something that is worth reading. That way, people will really (italics on) listen (italics off) to me when I speak.
