There is nothing more descriptive and beautiful than words. But me being a hardcore Instrumentalist and knowing what sort of feelings you can present and depict with an instrument, will say that Instrumental music is in no way less than vocal music. I enjoy when I listen to Bade Ghulam Ali Khansaheb’s bandishes, and I also enjoy Bismillah Khansaheb’s gat on Shehnai. But nevertheless, it is all music, and we should enjoy it in any form that we like. :)
