All Eyes on "Miss Digital World" - The Beauty Pageant

Posted: Dec 3, 2004 Fri 04:15 am     Views: 46

They are glamorous, they are posh & stylish, dashing & talented, and pumped up with spirits. Well to make it clear, I am not talking about beauties in Miss Earth, Miss Asia or Miss World contests. It is about the World’s first ever contest on Digital Beauty. The beauty that resides in the world of Virtual Reality.

The contest is going to be held on December 3rd 2004 and the winner of the "Miss Digital World" title will be crowned during a grand gala ceremony. To make this event historical Digital Beauty Queens from 5 continents are participating including India & Pakistan.

Fiza, black hair, brown eyes, tall, in her typical South Asian dress (with a little feary look... I don’t know why? May be some political pressure..) stands with confidence representing Pakistan. But her rival Katty ko, 170cm tall, sleek long hair with a nice smile from South America is standing out in the competition with the highest votes.

"Miss Digital World is the search for a contemporary ideal of beauty, seen through virtual reality." says Franz Cerami, the creator of Miss Digital World competition. To Franz’s expectations 3D digital artists from all over the world have responded actively and presented their beauty queens to the world. But the contestants must follow some regulations: "They must have never taken part, not even as extras or cameos, in any kind of pornographic film or show. They must not have made any kind of potentially offensive public declarations."

There are already great plans set for Miss Digital World. She would be invited to act in Virtual Reality films, play roles in video games & advertisements and be part of Virtual Charity projects.

On Dec 3rd - All eyes on "Miss Digital World".
