The Snake River plunges over 212 feet at Shoshone Falls.

At 212 feet, the falls is (52 feet) higher than Niagara Falls.

Shoshone Falls is also known as “Niagara of The West”. It is among the most spectacular of natural beauties along the Snake River.

Not many people know about this remotely located beauty. I’ve visited Shoshone three times in the last four years. Every single time huge rainbow was seen accompanying the gushing water of the falls.

Did I touch the rainbow?
