It rained in the City of Lights today!!

Rain... as if an ablution. Every creation of God seems bathed in novelty... as if reborn. The trees have gone greener, the skies brighter. Kids are playing about in the street below my balcony.

The birds are silent though... hidden beneath the branches of trees that drip from their fresh shower. Contrast... the very essence of Nature.

The wind is cold. It sends shudders through me. Pleasant shudders that seem to touch my soul. And i want so much more of it.

We don’t get to see this too often in this city. I am going for a long walk outside!
