I sing with no music

I sing with no music
for none accompanies me.
But if the world hath no music
shall my singing stop?
A thousand times NO! NEVER!
I shall never succumb!
For if the world was to go down,
I’d still sing my song!
To every corner in the universe,
my song would reach,
and who knows,
maybe individiality, some people it’d teach.
So let them hate me, let them smite me,
because of my musicless song,
because I know if I didn’t sing,
the world would before long.
