Day 2 started promisingly; awoke at 6.45 without the alarm. The cold was worse, I rationalised by thinking it’s always worse before it goes away, but avoided a shower nevertheless.
Breakfast was two idlis, a little sambar, coffee.
Forgot to take lunchbox so ate a lunch of fish (fried unfortunately but it was a little piece), rice pulao, makhani daal and plenty of salad.
Ate my reheated lunch at dinnertime. So 4 small chapatis, oilfree, 2 katoris of daal and a little sabzi.
Today a good friend and colleague quit, so at his farewell tea party, ate a samosa and half an oily laddoo :((((
Couldn’t quite muster the energy to gym again, so went for a longish walk; got a haircut; put away the laundry, put in a fesh batch into the washer and cleaned up the place a it. Housework burns calroies too-- about 100 I’d guess.
Better than vegetating in front of the telly anyway. Feeling fairly proud of myself.
