An Italian Gem...part 1
Today I spent all day in Flusing, Queens. Mostly at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore on Union TurnPike and Utopia Parkway near St. John’s University. I read the Maha Saraswati Chalisa in the cafe for a good while and transcribed it into Urdu into my journal..
Then I had a cup of Chinese Flower hot tea and an almond biscotti. Then I went to the bank and while I was at the bank chatting up the really pretty customer service representative, she happened to recommend this really good italian restaurant just across one block away. I exclaimed, "I love Italian" and she smiled, and I giggled.
