The problem with those who claim to be religious is that when the time comes for them to actually put to practise their faith: to show patience, to be strong in the face of adversity, to have faith, to practise compassion and empathy, to not give in to their arrogance, to stand up to the strong as well as the weak, to understand, to give the other their due rights, to say the truth when everyone else would lie, to be able to outgrow themselves when they need to...
The first thing they give up on is their faith.
