You cannot affiliate a behaviour to a profession. You can relate it to one or more persons. I know a lot of doctors behaving this way. They are really doing bad with the people who put their life in their’s hands. But i am sure you’ll find a lot of doctors in the same ’Shifa Hospital’ who will treat you with care & attention.

In fact, Pakistan is producing, i’ll say, a few doctors per year, comparing the figure to our population. Doctors are few and patients are increasing, putting a greater number of patients per doctor. We currently have about 2000 people in the hands of 1 doctor. How can we manage our healthcare with such a horrible figure.

I know this beforehead. I know about my our nature. First thing, I can’t do bad with anyone. I am not saying ’i don’t do’. I am saying "I can’t do’. It’s in my genes. May Allah give me the strength to start this profession with the same behaviour. I, at present, know many medical students who are so tired of their studies that they are planning to compensate their boredom of study at present with the money in future.

And remember one thing, If you find a doctor misbehaving, don’t critisize the medical profession, critisize that individual, or those who are doing the same.

As far as I am concerned, I am not like them, and may Allah keep me so.
