Naye kapray badal kar jaon kahan, aur bal banon kis kay liay?

Much to the horror of masculine eyes, these cold days are flying by in Hollister sweatshirts and dark brown Uggs; but, compared that to of last year’s record of bummness, these clothes happen to be an improvement!
Once, one has gone through the challenges of, oh, ever so many bra-less days, looking for shirts without coffee stains and sweatpants that haven’t wiped the roads clean, the feeling of feminism gets lost in these endeavors.
Forgive me ladies for this incredulous statement ~ as a ton of new shoes are accepting their fate sitting under the light coating of dust and as brand name clothing have made dry cleaning bags their permanent home, I seem to have lost my estrogen somewhere between my things.
There is still a film of oil on top of my Dior foundation, the heavy molecules idly settling at the bottom tell a tale of, let’s say, my not so glamorous days. And, even though, this shag has grown out, becoming more of a driving hazard than a stylish do, I’m still managing to live with myself with minimal physical updates.
The thing is, I no longer feel the need for a printed dress or sassy shoes to invoke prying eyes, when I would much rather avoid them. A simply made, 400 Rupeed, shalwar kameez with a stole serves the purpose as I’m steering clear of the covetted Nicole Miller dress.
Why dress deceptively vibrant when the spirit feels dim?
