I’ve learnt...

Posted: Mar 17, 2007 Sat 09:30 am     Views: 161

Some simple things I’ve learnt in life:

I’ve learn that sometimes there is only one side of the story
I’ve learnt that I will never be happy with my tailor
I’ve learnt that women always apply mascara with their mouth open
I’ve learnt that there will always be regrets but I wouldn’t want to change a single chapter of my life
I’ve learnt that nothing should be left unsaid
I’ve learnt that finding white hair in your head can lead to total panic
I’ve leant that the boss will not always be right but it’s best not to tell him/her that
I’ve learnt that I should never leave a job with a bad taste in my mouth
I’ve learnt that a little praise goes a long way
I’ve learnt that sometimes the best music is silence
I’ve learnt that the best gift you can give your parents is time
I’ve learnt that it’s very important to have one close friend who you can pour your heart to
I’ve learnt that only a sister will tell you honestly if you’ve gained weight
I’ve learnt that no matter how terrible you look, your brother will tell you you’re beautiful
I’ve learnt that no matter how big your feet, there will always be a shoe that fits
I’ve learnt that everyone has that one special person who breaks their heart
I’ve learnt that the best gift of God to women is intuition
I’ve learnt that the one thing I can trust in life is my instinct
I’ve learnt that keeping people at arm’s length will not protect me from pain
I’ve learnt that MAC makes the best kajal eye pencil
I’ve learnt that everyone’s life looks better than mine but no one’s life is easy
I’ve learnt that the grass is always greener on the other side
I’ve learnt that when I have curly hair I want straight hair and when I have straight hair I want curly hair
I’ve learnt that the most beautiful smile in the world is that of a child
I’ve learnt that I’ll never be happy with my nose but I wouldn’t change it for the world
I’ve learnt that arrogance is the biggest turn off in men
I’ve learnt that I can spend a whole day in bed watching TV
I’ve learnt that I can spend a whole day in my pajamas and not want to change
I’ve learnt that when I feel good, I look good
I’ve learnt that the best thing about humans is that they forget and move on
I’ve learnt that cocoo’s den makes the best tawa chicken in Lahore
I’ve learnt that sometimes crazy is all right
I’ve learnt that the more I try to control situations, the worse they get
I’ve learnt that wearing deodorant is essential in the gym
I’ve learnt that a long drive beats an expensive restaurant hands down
I’ve learnt that PMS is a part of life
I’ve learnt that sometimes revenge is not the sweetest thing in the world
I’ve learnt that there are very few people who stand by you when the going’s tough and you should never let them go
I’ve learnt that long distance relationships suck
I’ve learnt that time can pass by in a flash when I have a good book to read
I’ve learnt that it’s okay to make wrong choices and wrong decisions
I’ve learnt that if your faith in God is strong, no situation is too great to overcome
I’ve learnt that Punjabi jokes are always lost in translation
I’ve learnt that the one thing I should always have in my bag is chewing gum
I’ve learnt that people choose to hear what they want to hear
I’ve learnt that nothing beats an afternoon spent with friends, going down memory lane
I’ve learnt that cracking my knuckles in public gets me weird looks from people
I’ve learnt that black can make just about anyone look elegant
I’ve learnt that hopelessness is the worst feeling in the world
I’ve learnt that a paper cut can hurt a hell of a lot
I’ve learnt that health truly is wealth
I’ve learnt that cold mangoes on a really hot day are the best thing that can happen to you
I’ve learnt that having India-Pakistan fights on Chowk is the lamest thing in the world
I’ve learnt that the handiest thing ever is a safety pin
I’ve learnt that some people simply don’t deserve a second chance

And last but not least, I’ve learnt that shit happens – move on
