Kids Today - Part 6

Posted: Mar 20, 2007 Tue 12:10 am     Views: 30

‘You know what?! I’m sick of you and your incessant questions…you want answers? I’ll give you answers!

Dolly’s mother’s patience was at an end. She couldn’t keep covering up her tracks…it had to come out sooner or later, and perhaps the time had come.

‘Get ready…I’m taking you…to your father, he’ll answer all your bloody questions!’

Dolly turned around in disbelief, she couldn’t believe what she had just heard, her father? In the eight years of her existence, she had not heard even the mere mention of her father, in fact, she had recently started believing that she had never had one, that was she…a biological / biblical miracle.

But she wasn’t, and she couldn’t have been happier! She danced upstairs to her room, got into the prettiest dress she could find, made her hair up in two pigtails, pulled her stocking up to her knees, and waltzed back down, only to find her mother sniffing some dirty white powder off the dinner table.

Mom, I thought you said you were going to take it easy on that stuff?!

‘Honey; tonight more than ever before, I need it, to take the edge off.’ She sniffed the last remnants of the powder off the table, got up, and looked dolly over before commenting, ‘you look like a little slut, beautiful. Your father will love it!’

Mother and Daughter got into the car and silently they drove in the darkness for about fifteen minutes, after which they pulled up in front of a run-down shotgun house.

Dolly couldn’t contain herself, finally she thought, finally I’ll get to meet my father.

They made their way to the front door, and knocked, but nobody answered and after a few tries, Easy took out her cell phone and dialed Gunn’s number.

‘Yeah?’

Your daughter is here to see you!’

Where?

‘At your doorstep we’re standing’

‘Well, I’m going to be at work for another hour or so, why don’t you sit her inside and leave, I’ll umm…take care of everything when I get back. You can pick her up in the morning’

What do you mean by that?

I mean, wouldn’t she want to spend some time with me? I’m assuming she would, considering we’ve never met, and I would love to…umm, spend some quality time with my daughter too.’

‘If you touch her Gunn, I’ll kill you’

‘Come off it Easy, you know I won’t, she’s my daughter, now just sit her inside and leave the rest to me, I’ll be back in an hour max’

‘Okay fine!’

Easy turned to her daughter, and said, ‘your father’s at work but will be back in an hour or so, he wants you to wait for him inside’

At that moment, in the police station, Gunn turned to a couple of his buddies who were standing around, and said:-

‘Fresh meat being served at my place tonight. Be there.’

‘Or be square!’
