Three Cups of Tea: One Man’s Mission to Promote Peace . . . One School at a Time Posts

Got together with one of my elder cousins in DC. As we were sharing stories of our recent travels, he came up with a recommendation to look into "Three Cups of Tea" that he read during his flight back from Europe.

Me: I have read about Greg’s project over a year ago and had ordered his book from Amazon but found out that the paperback was not available, so I got the CD.

He: I was coming back from Europe and read the book in the plane. I started crying as I read that book. He has written great things about Pakistanis. It gives you a great feeling.

Me: I have great respect for Greg’s project and have been supporting his group monetarily.

He: This is the kind of project where we should have a fund raiser. The areas he is exploring in Afghanistan and Pakistan are territories where no one goes. Being with the UN and having lived and traveled all over the world, I can tell you that is a great service any individual can do.

As I got home, I decided to check Amazon to find his paperback. During my search, I came across the following by Greg on amazon. Besides the following, some people have written excellent reviews of this book on Amazon. Hopefully, I will order my copy in my birthday month and submit my review on Amazon to support Greg’s cause.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF THREE CUPS OF TEA

Thanks to your incredible support, and to book clubs, women’s groups, schools, civic groups, churches, mosques, synagogues, to help keep ’Three Cups of Tea’ on the New York Times bestseller list for 13 weeks now!

Please encourage friends and collegues to write Amazon.com book reviews, and give feedback on them.

Please also consider supporting girls’ education, schools, and literacy in rural Afghanistan and Pakistan with your Amazon book purchases. Amazon will donate 7% of proceeds of ALL your book purchases to our nonprofit Central Asia Institute www.ikat.org - if you link through www.threecupsoftea.com.

In rural Pakistan or Afghanistan it cost only about $ 1 per month per student to educate a child, about $ 1 daily for a teacher’s salary, and a penny buys a pencil - so your few seconds to route to Amazon.com via www.threecupsoftea.com at no cost to you goes a long ways to support a student’s education. Please tell your friends, family and collegues- they make a difference by purchasing your books and gifts (mother’s day, birthdays, holidays) through this feature.

Thanks again for helping Three Cups of Tea in a big way, and for your support of girls’ education and literacy initiatives!
