Mother used to say ‘ Guest is blessing’ And black crow sometimes gives alarm for the guests.

I think gone are the days when guests were welcome and host were happy. Now guests are supposed to be decent and responsible. I mean they should inform of their visit and duration to stay., so that host should take leave from his/her work place , bribe maid or the servant for over time .

My elder brother was always against guests , he is individual person .He used to paste a slip on his door’ Please don’t disturb me’ And whenever , there are guest especially in summer vacation .He kept on inquiring about their return journey.

Last month he came from London for short visit , five days in Karachi, two days in Dubai and only three days in Islamabad.. We had been talking ,laughing and chit chat continuously in our home for two days. .Perhaps weather was unfriendly and there was no charm out side. And we were comfortable at home. I asked him about his being individual .He burst in to laughter and said my in-laws have taught me a lesson. They come so frequently and I have no place to hide! He told me that he had laughed like this way after a long time and he must visit Pakistan for this purpose only. Both of them go to work at 7 AM and comes at 6 PM. Week end is the only option to do all chores to fix and run the other six days smoothly. An Indian maid look after the baby .She is a nice lady and substitute for the mother.
