Looks as though our English Summer is coming to an end. I so dislike going into Autumn and then into Winter - you never know just WHAT weather is waiting ahead to hit us, though in recent years we haven't had it too bad. But I must admit it seems ever more thoughtless to complain about weather in the temperate zone that we inhabit in these isles when one sees the horrific weather conditions increasingly occurring in other parts of the world. So, maybe I just ought to mothball my shorts, sit out the next few months and simply SHUT UP!
