What is Love? (Part I)

What is love?
A feeling that takes you on top of the world? Or an emotion, that truly makes life worth living? Is it over-rated or not dramatized enough? Is it for real or just a figment of our imagination, fuelled by countless celluloid theatrics? Is it hidden in words written in literature or locked in the smell of the flower pressed between the pages of a literary masterpiece?

What is love?
Is the first kiss? The first embrace? The first dance? Or is it none of these or all of them? Is it an entity that remains forever or does it change; with age, with seasons or with destiny? Is it a look across a crowded room or an intimate moment away from the prying eyes of the world?

What is love?
Is it a song? A movie? Is it a cuisine or a cocktail? Is it a passion for colors, a pallette of mauve, pink and peach that is used to paint the canvas of life? Or is it darkness,with shades of grey and black?

What is love?
Can it happen anytime, anywhere regardless of race, religion or creed? Or is it bound by norms and rules of society; rules that bend and distort it? Does it fly like a free bird? Or is it caged and yet, forced to sing?
