can we play with toys?

Posted: Nov 19, 2007 Mon 02:38 am     Views: 204    Interacts: 0

I just got off line talking to a freind in NYC and he was raving about Jarvis. I was so clueless.

A few clicks later i found out that Jarvis is a man who designs toys. so preplexing why my 28 yr old freind has decided to play with a odd faced pony. but a few clicks more and i discovered there is a huge market for designer toys out there. a craze which started in japan and now engulfs usa and europe and many other parts of the world.

then i thought will paki boys and girls come to play with toys and make fantastical stories about them? i dont think it will happen.we are too shallow and boring to take up collecting figures and then reading up on their comics and sharing them with freinds.. we will remain content in driving around in circles in clifton or having a non sensical chat at Costa. thats how exciting we can get!

lets change our boring selves and get into this great design stuff.. which brings me to have you seen how we dress. boys in the tommy look since 1995 and girls ex spears look.. every country's youth keeps rinventing its style. the harajuka girls of japan, the hackney crowd of london, the bronx sisters etc.. we remain stagnent.

just a few thoughts that popped into me head so i thought id share em.. but really we must do something fun. lets play with toys for starters!
