I had an opportunity to visit the Museum at the bank of New York today after eight years. The model replica of downtown New York in the late 1700's, as the then capital of the US, was facincaitng. From fraunces tavern, as it stands today, to the williams street tavern where Alexander Hamilton forged the fiscal policies of this country and established the Bank of New York, it is a wonderful view into the past of this country. The Bank of New York has done a good job in preserving that bit of history and if anyone ever get a chance, I would recommend it.
