The Indo Pak Muslims were rescued from total Hindu and Sikh domination by the armies of the English East India Company when Delhi was taken from the Hindu Marathas by General Lake in 1803 and once Punjab and Trans Indus Settled Pathan districts were wrested by General Hugh Gough from the Marathas ! This unfortunate twist of history instilled a shameless streak of opportunism in the leadership of Indian Muslims who emerged after 1803 and 1849 ! Collaboration was the formula of success !

Nawab Mohammad Hayat Khan of Wah started as an Orderly Officer with Brigadier General Nicholson at Delhi ! Hayat a close friend of Sir Syed later on presided meetings of All India Muslim Educational conference in 1888,1889 and 1890 and also played an instrumental role of many Afghan Muslims at Kabul in the Second Afghan War !Nawab Ahmad Ali Khan grandfather of Pakistan's first premier Liaquat Ali Khan made his real fortune while protecting British communications from Lahore to Delhi at Karnal in the Great War against terror fought by the English East India Company in 1857 ! Shahzada Faridun of Durrani family of Lahore became illustrious as a Jemadar of 2nd Punjab Infantry in 1857 ! Shiekh Imam ud din of Lahore became prosperous because he raised two cavalry troops for service with British at Delhi ! Khair ud din Kasuri raised 100 horsemen and assisted General Van Cortland in raids against Muslim Ranghars burning many Ranghar Muslim villages like Jamalpur in Hissar and Rohtak ! Syed Mohammad Shah another Punjab chief served in 5th Punjab Cavalry at Delhi and Lucknow in 1857-58. Mardan Ali Khan of Chib family of Gujrat served in 2nd Sikh Cavalry ! Malik Fateh Sher Tiwana raised a cavalry regiment for service against Ranghar Muslims as part of General Cortland's force ! Malik Hakim Khan of Mitha Tiwana fought in Malik Fateh Khan's regiment at Hissar and Narnaul against Ranghar Muslim cavalry rebels of 1857 ! Hakim Khan Nun's family also produced a Pakistani prime minister of Pakistan i.e Firoz Khan Noon !Syed Azam ud din Hassan Bilgrami an uncle of another famous Muslim leader Syed Hossain Bilgrami played a crucial role in collaborating with the British in 1857 !

The History of the Frontier Force Rifles compiled by W.E.H Condon and published in 1953 claims that Subedar Bakht Khan a rebel as Naik Mohammad is branded today was killed in Nawab Ganj area by Naik Habibullah and Sepoy Fateh Singh of the 5th Punjab Infantry ! The two collaborators were awarded Indian Order of Merit !

The rule of the thumb established was that collaboration paid ! Many more fortunes were made by Punjab feudals ancestors of at least more than 50 % members of todays assemblies in raising troops for service against Turk muslims in First World War ! More than 421,000 acres of canal irrigated land was distributed for these services after that war in Punjab ! Many Khans and Khan Bahadurs were created in the Frontier for service against the tribal Pathans in the Frontier Tribal Expeditions !

Khizar Hayat Tiwana supplied horses to the British in the 1919 Martial Law in Punjab ! Sir Mohammad Shafi attended tea parties with British governor of Punjab while Gujranwala was bombed and Punjab suffered floggings and executions as part of martial law of 1919 !

The examples are endless and even Mr Jinnah admitted that most Muslim leaders did nothing without the permission of the British Deputy Commissioner known as DC ! Small wonder that nothing in todays Pakistan happens without the permission of a new type of DC who sits in Washington DC !

The present war against terror is little different from that fought by Hayat Mohammad Khan of Wah or many others ! The aim is to destroy the resolution of the Islamic world ! Collaboration pays till a certain level is the modus operandi ! After all the generals of Zia junta acquired millions of US Dollars in the Afghan War thanks to collaboration with USA ! Why must the present Pakistani regime be left behind !

The war in Wana has a larger dimension ! The US aim is to destroy the anti US forces before the September 2004 Elections in Afghanistan so that US domination of Afghanistan is ensured ! Thus a time frame was given to the Pakistani military regime in which Wana and the Tribal Areas must be neutralised !

The Islamists all over the world from Gaza to Wana are being destroyed by Rockets ! Their destruction is glorified with the claim that they were al Qaeda agents ! No one has the courage to question as to who is a US agent !

The deceased Jam Sahib of Lasbela made a statement after USSR invasion of Afghanistan which sums up Pakistani ruling elites life script and essence ! He said that my family ruled Lasbela before the arrival of English East India Company in Baluchistan ! My family ruled it as collaborators of British ! My family ruled it after 1947 and my family will still rule Lasbela even if the USSR invades Pakistan !

This sums up the strategy of Pakistani ruling elite ! Who ever invades Pakistan ! The collaborators will win since they will collaborate with the occupiers and reap the harvest ! To hell with the Pakistani common man ! He died in 1919 , he died in 1947 , he died in 1965 , 1971 , 1999 and will continue to be used as the cannonfodder !
