words

They glisten
when hit
by the beams of reason
amid the gloom of despair.

They are keys
to unlock hearts
sealed by hatred.

Lonesome moments
find mates
In them.

They've served
to bring
revolutions.

But most often
they are hesitant,
playing in the back
of my mind
resisting coming down.

hum nahi aa rahay aaj. am in laWhore as Charlie spells & leaving for PIND, not PINDI, tomorrow. May be we arrange something in lahore when Azure will be here next weekend. It's that mausam of night outs. make sure the dress theme is Chaddiz only. :)

Also let me tell that 4Lee is coming to lahore this summer & he is going to give us grand treat on account of getting married.

I was caught by a pleasant surprise when I, out of nowhere received this mail from Azure. He's got my id from 'goonga'. I suggested to have a lunch at my work place tomorrow but he's insisting us to meet somewhere in the blue area this evening. And I guess very well why he likes this place 'blue area'; yes his chowk id 'Azure'. I'm feeling rather puzzled coz I've no credentials to gel with the islamabadi cream at chowk.
would have loved to see you though!

Azuri? Is he alive? As far as I know he is web-dead, or at least 'chowk-dead', to quote Tazeen. The damned guy didn't even bother inviting me, but that could be coz he knows I am in Lahore. Would have loved to joined you guys had I been in Isloo. Is bmk coming too? And don't (you dare) forget to invite Yasir Latif Hamdani aka mantolives though, heard he has shifted to Isloo too, you guys will have the time of your lives... ;)

darn, for me it's the other way round, it happens so very often that the words I utter bear such ghastly consequences that I am forced to lock them down inside my mouth forever. :D

btw, well-written!
