Kaal bhai,
I thank you for your kind suggestion that I move out of this sufi business.
Your suggestions has merit on 2 fronts (not 2 prongs as the benevolent dictator mush would say):
1. There is not much money in sufism. Unlike the yogis and swamis...you cannot just ask the student to part with all his money to show his aversion to material things. In sufism, unfortunately, it is preached that you should bein this world, but not of this world. So you can have a normal job or business, be wealthy and all...no problem. You don't have to give it all up....to a swami...to be worthy ;) So no. No money in it. I should consider becoming a Swami.
2. I am a self styled pseudo sufi, (not really a sufi) so I am no good at the sufi thing in any case.
Now on to the question: How do we label Naqshbandi the true sufi?
Firstly, you add Waliullah as a prefix and Rehmatullah alaih as a suffix. So it becomes Walliallh Naqshbandi Rehmatullah elaih.
If you further want to label his exalted holiness, you may refer to him as amir ul momineen, the seer of the absolute truth, the defender of souls, the hand of God, the knower of secrets.
I hope that bunch of labels will do.
For that's what labels are anyways...just labels ;). Just like you can call the creator Allah, God, Yahwah, Bhagwan, etc
