Is Islam really saying things that are so strange and different?

Hindu scripture Upanishad

“Ekam Evadvitiyam” (Chandogya Upanishad 6:2:1)
“Nacasya kascij janita na cadhipah” (Shwetashvatara Upanishad 6:9)
“Na tasya pratima asti” (Shwetashvatara Upanishad 4:19)
“na samdrse tisthati rupam asya, na caksusa pasyati kas canainam”. (Shwetashvatara Upanishad 4:20)


“He is one only without a second.”
“Of Him there are neither parents nor Lord.”
“There is no likeness of Him”.
“His form cannot be seen, no one sees Him with the eye”.

112:3 Lam yalid walam yooladu
112:4 Walam yakun lahu kufuwan ahadun

SAY: "He is the One God:
"God the Eternal, the Uncaused Cause of All Being.
"He begets not, and neither is He begotten;
"and there is nothing that could be compared with Him.
