To my mother!

Posted: Apr 25, 2008 Fri 01:16 am     Views: 151    Interacts: 19

When I was a child
I used to dream
of becoming such strong
so that to raise your stature
to the stars; you termed my destination,
yet I needed you to grow me up.
And when I've grown up,
I still need your prayers
to pluck those stars
and sprinkle it
under your feet
right where my heaven lies.

Thanx kashkin! yes, whenever I'm feeling down in motivation, I look nowhere but towards my dear mother who's always there with her soothing prayers.
Thanx Delirium! you yourself are an awsome writer!
Ma'am Nadine! So very thanx! And tell you what, we won our first match with flying colors. Today we're playing our second one.
Thanx Pulchritude! for liking the poem.
And Thank you so much izuber! it is indeed the purist of the themes I've ever tried to pen.

Mardan is expected to go pretty 'forward' just like Bannu did due to vizir-e-ala's & the likes' base. God-forbid, May be its the first...

Mardan, the erstwhile peaceful city is feeling the brunt of everything that went on around it. I wonder who the culprits are, especially when Sufi Mohammad has been released and Baitullah Mehsud has publically called for a ceasefire! A general consensus of the citizens reveals a hand of our very OWN establishment in sporadic acts of violance in Mardan.

May Allah keep all of our cities and towns and villiages preserved from all hazards!

Hope everything is fine in your hometown.
It's despicable... a few peaceful weeks have ended with this blast.
