Upon learning the background of the discussion, I have no hesitation in stating that the "Non-hateful" poster substantially restrained his comment to the "hateful" poster. If somebody told me that "bride burning" is not akin to "honor" killing, then I would have used much stronger language out of sheer frustration. :(W)
Infact, there is nothing "honorable" about bride burning or any other type of murder, including the forced immolation of young widows in the form of sati. :@ However, marriage to trees, monkeys, and elephants is quite appropriate - as long as there is no penetration. (T)
