The true path of submission or "Islam" without the Sunnah nonsense

I doubt you have read enough of Vaishnava or Shaiva Bhakti traditions to understand that Bhakti includes prapatti which requires surrendering of the individual ego to the divine will - which is also the true basic meaning of "Islam" or submission.

Also, contrary to your understanding in another board (the MEEM of Bulley Shah) I have already showed how "Islam" of sufis need not be aligned with Sunnah , but has everything to do with the path of "surrender" to the will of your deity.The path of prapatti works in the same way even if you throw away Sunnah as many sufis do (excluding the "Darbari-Sufis" like Naqshabandis).


So, it is absolutely wrong to say that the 'our' ( a self reference to you and other sunnah loving darabari-sufis) methods are not the same.

Then, you asked -"How can they be when we worship two entirely different entities?"

The path of bhathi or surrender works equally well for a Vaishanava, Shaiva or a Shakta ( I hope you know the differences between these sects). So , even if the deities are different- the path remains the same.
