Daily News: Forcing Indians to look in the mirror

BJP launches counter attack on Sonia

Saturday, April 05
http://www.indianexpress.com/story/292685.html
NEW DELHI: : Hitting back at Congress president Sonia Gandhi for her criticism of L K Advani, the BJP raked up the issue of her foreign origin again on Friday. Party spokesman Ravi Shankar Prasad said BJP needs no lesson on nationalism from someone who is yet to "fully learn and appreciate the core ethos of Indian civilisation". Prasad said Sonia was trying to divert the attention of the public from key national issues like price-rise, food security and national security by harping on the Kandahar episode. He said, "Soniaji would do the country a great service if she, instead of focusing her misguided ire on the Opposition, directs the rag-tag experiment called the UPA towards issues of governance."
