As-Salaamu A3alakum,

I thought this was absolutely beautiful. Ahmadinejad's eldest son Mahdi was married last week on April 15th. Look how simple and beautiful his wedding was. So modest and humble. The men enjoy their orange, apple and banana in separate quarters away from the women and than they prayed salat jama3a.

These pictures were published on www.fardanews.com:

I just wish more people realised that a wedding does not need to be glorified and made into a show case for everyone. I just dont understand why some people feel the need in creating a big wedding as if they have to protray their love for their partner by making a big expensive wedding. How I wish a wedding can just be this simple; invite your close family and friends, read Quran, read Dua, pray Salat jama3a, than meet your bride/groom: Just Beautiful!

This is surely an example for all of us.

Wasalaam A3alakum.
