The Prayer for Healers
O God,
I beseech thee to give an iota of your compassion so that I use it to heal the sick and comfort the dying.
O God, you are the source of all that is good. I ask you to bathe my spirit in your healing grace so that I may heal the afflicted through you.
O God, Give me patience and the wisdom to take care of my patients and to counsel their families in pain, grief and anguish.
O God, make me a vehicle of your divine grace and let me bring comfort to the dying and their families.
O God, from you we have come and to you we shall return.
In thy holy name we pray.
Grant us grace
Grant us peace
Grant us patience
Grant us love
