Chowk Editor, I feel your pain, let chowkees help you

Chowk editor,

You guys started chowk, you nourished it and gave it life. You continue to do untold amount of work on chowk more for love less for revenue. For certainly the advert impressions do not pay much, and chowkies are too cheap to actually click on the ads...so I know the ads don't generate much revenue. I know this is a labor of love.

And that's just the thing. You should assess yourself and see if you are indeed capable of taking chowk forward as a progressive movement, rather than the negative place it has become.

If you analyze that you cannot, if you are strapped for resources, or if you are short of ideas, or if you are fed up with where chowk is, or if there are areas of expertise that you don't have time to catch up to....then why don't you solicit help from chowkies? Maybe open up a moderated discussion?

Surely you are open to this place becoming more self sufficient and profitable?

Che/Shafaquat bhai,

Am I that transparent? My efforts to be as loving and as emotionally available and open as possible have finally paid of.

You're partly right. My spiritual guru, his royal highness, his considerable knowingness, hin interplanetary traveling-ness, mullah toofani has asked me to shake up the status quo.

The mullah asks, and hurricane makes it happen.

Thanks for the support, I shall need it soon.

hurry bhai, I have a feeling you are trying to take over chowk over for some reason and I must warn you against it. In case you succeed I will help you crush any resistance.

your comrade,

Che,

hahahaha...no it really is the New and improved Masadi.

Masadi,

I think chowk editors are gonna do your bidding now ;). The new and improved Masadi has the keywords "new" and "improved" that conformists love to hear.

Quin,

Thank you for your suggestions. They are duly noted. Although, I do prefer my harsh abrasive way. Softening up is not a hurricane's job. Nature relegates that work to the tiptoeing, light as breath, sweet as dew on a lotus, type light summer mist like showers. I am Hurricane!

hurry bhai, you didn't have to kill masadi and assume his identity :@

modify second line of second para: (it is too abrasive - suggestion to improve communication skills)

"You should review the available resources at hand and see if its lack is proving a challenge for you to achieve the purpose you have in mind for taking chowk forward as a progressive movement. (full stop - no need for blaming them for negativity - responsibility of negativity lies squarely on us as well - we must see in our greibaan - look at the unplug - even at the interacts - you and me are as much responsible)
PS: also some work needed on para 3

In ten years how many projects like the ones on goodnewsindia.com were given birth to?
