Why is it that non Kshatriya Hindus always need protection ?

Posted: Mar 19, 2009 Thu 10:50 am     Views: 348    Interacts: 3

The importance of the role of a Kshatriya in Hindu tradition must be understood by all hindus and non-hindus alike.

It is a solution to the problem that is faced by every ascetic tradition that considers asceticism, non-violence, kshama and daya as the core of its spirituality because once these values are considered supreme then it's practitioners become easy targets for violence, plunder and slavery by external aggressors.

Unlik Mohammadism , hindus came up with a division of labour where the armed combatants and un-armed civilians are differentiated. The civilans are NOT prescribed to indulge in violent behaviour or carry arms and by doing so the 'civilian' and 'softer /spiritual' core of hindusim is protected from external attacks and having to take up violence.

Hinduism came up with the perfect solution to protect it's acetic and non-vilent CORE by having an armed group that aims at protecting the other un-armed and non-violent group who practice non-violence and asceticism.

For example, Shri Rama suo moto fought with the Rakshasas who were killing the non-violent rishis and Munis in the various forests and kept secure the aceticism and spiritual practitioners intact.

Mohammadism on the contrary makes no distinction and prescribed violent behavior for every member and hence the seepage of violence in every aspect of Islam.

Hinduism requires Layers (and not 'Levels') of spiritual development-

Kaal ji,

Hinduism requires different layers of spiritual development in order to protect the inner most core of spiritual practices.

Kshatriyas represent that external and binding layer of people who use violence to protect its non-violent core.

I thin your are not following my revelations in this regard.

Sikhism in its present form is a product of muslim aggression which destroyed brutally that protective layer.

Consequently, the call was taken for every civilian to take to arms and protect each other by becoming Singhs.

The call did produce the desired result, but it also diluted the intense non-violent and spiritual practices within Sikhism.

You see how the Udasis and other sects that practiced non-violent and core ascetic spiritual practices were marginalized within the current Sikhism that turned every one into kshastra bearing individual then you would understand my revelations in this regard.

Doctor Saheb,

Caste is hardly an issue in present times because it is just another name for family and kinship association.

If you are asserting that people born of specific caste are 'forced' or even 'necessitated' to work within the profession of that caste then you are absolutely wrong.

The division of labour as function of one's lineage has disappeared. Neither Indian state or government supports it nor there are caste "LAWS" to enforce such a thing on citizens of india.

Laddu, it all looks good theoretically but question is how to implement it practically and how to dissociate the division of labor from birth? Why in India, son of a sudra is still a sudra even if he is a teacher in a university or serving in the army?
Sikh gurus did their best to anhilate castes but castes still survive and are the biggest problem of hinduism. What is the solution for this?
