Pakistani Elites and their fantasies as "Dispossesed Moghuls"

Posted: Jul 8, 2009 Wed 07:15 pm     Views: 308    Interacts: 2

"A descendant of India's last Mughal emperor has been rescued from a life of penury in Calcutta by getting a job with the state-run Coal India.

Madhu is the illiterate great-great-granddaughter of emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar and has been employed to run errands in Coal India's offices." -Times of India

This is where these Moghuls actually belong to- they deserve to work hard in order to make a honest living.

Unfortunately, Pakistanis still fantasize about the 'glorious' mughul days dreaming that - "hum bhi kabhi faakta udate the!!" (LOL). They still think that they would live off haftas and nazranas looted through terror or ordinary hindu dhimis while they would live like Mere Mehboob nawaab sahibs in havellis made from the loot and kharaj of the hindu mushriques.

The "Dispossed Moghul" syndrome is another Pakistani national fantasy that has been peddled by its elites for long!!

Honest work has not killed anyone and times never stay the same. Good that the Moghul decendants have learnt to move with the times. Pakistanis should also follow suit.

Laddu, please get rid of that orange dress you're wearing or that raised iron fist will come down heavily upon your head.
