Broken Skull brings 'Schumi' Back!?

Posted: Jul 31, 2009 Fri 05:30 am     Views: 280    Interacts: 3

Not his own, but it is poor Brazilian Massa’s fractured head that brings the maverick back in action. Unbelievable! Blessing in disguise ? Isn’t it ? But that’s how it is. Ferrari and Schumacher go together!

As the legendary champ is busy nursing his neck, an injury sustained during a motorcycle race earlier during winter, he strives to bring his 40 year old body back in shape. The Germans, in particular, are thrilled

“The God of racing has come back. The legend will drive again,” reads one of the newspapers

Burning to be back in full action, the one and only, seven time champion is likely to make his Grand Prix appearance in Venice on August 23rd. The man who retired after rewriting F1 history in 2006, nearly holding every record in the book and boasts of an amazing record of 91 victories in 250 starts is all set to be back in limelight and driving seat.

While the champion is looking to give his very best, let’s see if he can deliver and bring more respectability to a struggling and trailing Ferrari campaign.

Time to revamp my Ferrari jacket!

yaar F1 is the third largest TV viewer stint, following the olympics and the Football World Cup. But recently all the controversies regarding people and teams seems to have taken the fans aback. Glamour and huge payoffs (both in speed and money) were its major crowd pullers. I have read that they are mulling using three cars from now on and making the qualifying more challenging. Should be fun, next season.

So very true. I too relinquished following F1 when the great sportsman announced his retirement.
It was such fun watching the passionate man in full action who wouldn't even spare his bro Ralf.
The broken neck seems to pay as Schumi jumps into the arena when the viewership is dwindling following Honda's and BMW's pull out.

Yeah and time to put that ferrari sticker back on my poor Mehran. :)

If only we knew that it takes Massa's broken neck to bring Schumi back, we would have done that two years back!

I stopped taking interest in F1 after Schumi was gone (there was another altogether unconnected reason as well) but now I believe my sundays would be spend in watching the idiot box once agiain. :)
