Masadi sahib, you need to go get an education

Some observations on your recent diatribe against Jassi.

Do not fall for the propaganda of the bigots who love Jinnah and the colonials (J.Singh) only because they hate Muslims and socialism.

Your point would have been valid had Jassi praised Jinnah because he brought about the Partition. Just in case you have not noticed, Jassi has lamented the fact that Partition happened, not rejoiced about it. And the reason he praises Jinnah is because Jinnah tried his best to avoid Partition and attacks Nehru and Patel because they brought about the Partition (in his opinion, that is).

In case you have read the book, you will also notice the fact that Jassi laments that Indian Muslims have become suspect in the eyes of their countrymen, victims of Partition. So much for Jassi being an anti-Muslim bigot.

that getting a federalist settlement was "impossible"

Of course, it was possible. And that is why MAJ (pbuh) agreed to the Cabinet Mission Plan. It was one of your heroes- Jawaharlal Nehru- the alleged freedom fighter- who tanked the CMP making Partition possible.

Masadi sahib, I seriously suggest that you start reading more and writing less. Have a nice day and take it easy.

Regards

PS: On a personal note

The purpose of these right wing capitalist loons (with pardon majumdar)

I am perfectly OK with you calling me a right wing capitalist becuase that is what I am but I think you do owe an apology for calling me a lunatic.

Publius, I have said this in the past, but not as politely as you. Being stuka's jodidar, i have apologised.
Some people see politeness as a weakness. Masadi is not the only one in the world who thinks like this.

"Serves you right for being masadis chamcha;"

majumdar, don't you think that your politeness and courtesy are misplaced when dealing with this character( I don't mean Shankar) ?

majumdar,

Serves you right for being masadis chamcha; where you would faithfully reproduce all his banned posts. If you cross him even once; you get on his s*it list.

'...right wing loons should petition the Pakistani government to change their erroneous perception and put Nehru's pics instead of MAJ's as the REAL founder of the nation- because that is what these loons are saying in effect.'

Mr. Asadi, Majumdar is my friend but I admire u for this line.

Also, majumdar and other right wing loons should petition the Pakistani government to change their erroneous perception and put Nehru's pics instead of MAJ's as the REAL founder of the nation- because that is what these loons are saying in effect

A very cheap shot from majumdar. The fact is that he hasn't countered even one of my points that a precise effort was made to get partition based on TNT by Jinnah and a mythology created around it by the Allama. Were this much effort placed on getting a federal solution, it would have become a possibility much faster than partition, getting a brand new nation. I think majumdar needs to get an education, he is writing about the book from article reviews just like I am, he hasn't gone through the book and I don't plan to go through it. His point about the Muslims and backlash is similar to mine but the author belongs to a thuggish party and I don't. Nehru was not my hero

Have a nice day, all right wing capitalists are LOONS- no apology required.....

looks like masadi's latest nic is banned too ... does that mean majumdar will have to help him post a response here too? .... reminds me of the character of Voldermorte in the Harry Potter series ... the 'dark lord' who lives off another :D

Did you read the book? It's very different from what both his opponents in India and his supporters in Pakistan think it is! I have read a few extracts, and that made it clear.
Jassi completely repudiates the TNT for one.
Strong words from you...masadi should take note. You are such a mild mannered man.
