When i was a kid i wanted to be a vagabond. Their lives on the roads, woods, wilderness and in the seas seemed so much fun. When i read about Hippies and saw the photos in the US history book; i wanted to be like them taking long drags of coke with filthy and carefree appearances. The concept of hitchhiking appealed as well. When you are young – you tend to develop such crazy dreams. As a kid we want to experience every risk – may be because we don’t consider it risk; but the elders keep telling don’t do this you’ll hurt yourself, don’t do that it is not good for you etc. When we grow up we draw lines for ourselves. As years passed by, i became non-adventurous, passive and boring. There is no such thing as risk-free life but yes, wariness took over me.
Now the concept of home pulls me more than anything when i think about the life with no permanent abode. Home should be where heart desires. It should have colorful walls and it must have a small and serene library with a window overlooking a garden with plenty of flowers. Did i mention gato as a pet? Yes, there is no harm in dreaming! Its motivating!
