Moonsighting

Posted: Sep 15, 2009 Tue 05:02 am     Views: 296    Interacts: 14

Mr. Tahir,

Could you please give us data for moonlighting in different parts of the world? If my memory chip is still working, you have mentioned something like this a while back.

I am personally interested in Auckland.

I guess everyone would like to see real moon once a year in addition to his or her own domestic CHAND.

Regards
MBA

MBA, since my last interact this morning, I have traversed the US from west to east (Spokane to New York)but still see no sign of Sir Tahir climbing down from his Observatory to announce the precise moment of Chaandsighting. It is rather late now to wait for him much longer. I am having difficulty in keeping my eyes open, going to hit the sack very soon.
Yes "Zakhm" is a very sad and heartrending story, most likely based on a true story, for there have been many a story like this one in the old world we come from.

Very valid point Fauz.

I used to stay up two night just to celebrate 2. Thought Del might be doing the same.

MBA, if its a chand raat it means he ALREADY knows that the moon is out. Why would he stay up then? :)

Unless ofcourse Del is waiting for his chaand to show up. :P

Del, are you going to stay up all chand raat for AILAAN?

All I'm concerned about is moonsighting by none other than Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman. For us that's all that matters....unless you are residing on the other side of the Attock bridge.

ALFBAY

Dude. All I can say is you've got it all wrong. You are addressing two distinct ladies here. Both residing in different parts of the globe.

This still does not prove that you are not posing as two or three or four.
No matter how hard you try, every one know the games you are playing

Yes MBA, he predicted that Ramadan will start from 22nd August, and that's exactly when it started.

What color "chooRian" has your "CHAND" got for you?

@Samurai, did you get bangles for anyone? :)

MBA,for the correct answer to your question regarding the Sighting-Times in the different part of the globe, I would leave it for Tahir Sahib to confirm it.But your last paragraph reminded me of my all time favourite, " Gali Mein Aaj Chaand Nikla". I do hope our Astrophysicist would have the satisfying answer for you very soon.
